Hessler, Richard

Richard Hessler received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and has been a professor at MU since 1971. His specialty interests include medical, methodology, and aging. His research revolves around a search for the causes of structured inequalities such as gender, race, ethnicity and age. He also studies the impacts that various inequalities have on individuals, institutions and communities.
